Job Responsibilities

  • Provide cost and general ledger accounting support during the month end close process including:
    • Operational management reporting
    • Journal entries
    • Account analysis and reconciliation
    • Actual vs. budget analysis
  • Solid understanding of perpetual/periodic inventories
    • Inventory Cutoffs
    • Inventory Controls
    • Inventory Reconciliations
  • Understanding of Internal controls and SOX compliance
  • Experience with Construction in Progress (CIP)/Capex project cost management
  • Knowledge of standard cost principals
  • Knowledge of accrual-based accounting
  • Participate in the preparation of the annual plan, budgeting, and forecasting
  • Participate in manufacturing planning, logistics and operations from a financial aspect
  • Develop business unit wide analytical tools for decision support
  • Provide project managers with Key Performance Indicators to drive execution


Business Objectives Alignment: Serve as an expert in the field and assist the manager in making business decisions and developing business strategies

  • Prepare statutory reports required under the laws and regulations in force
  • Prepare the analyses and information required to produce the unit’s, group’s or company’s financial statements and management reports and make recommendations

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance


Desired experience

  • 5-10-year experience as an analyst or similar position


Technical competencies

  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills specifically V-lookups, pivot tables, etc. 
  • Finance, forecasting and analysis skills
  • Capable of handling multiple database systems and complex data compilation
  • Knowledge of SAP or similar ERP system
  • Strong operational finance knowledge and problem-solving skills with independent judgment to deal with ambiguity
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills to achieve company goals
  • Results-oriented contributor must demonstrate business acumen and resourcefulness
