Growing government contractor looking to bring on a Sr. C# Software Developer. Due to legal contract obligations the position does require viable candidates to be US Citizens. Position does allow extensive telecommute options. 
 

Requirements 

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, electronics engineering or other engineering or technical discipline.
  • Minimum 8+ years of additional relevant experience may be substituted for education.

• 2+ years of experience in the field of industrial process automation similar or CMOP.
• Experience developing systems in the Microsoft environment using Microsoft’s development tools in real-time is required.
• Proven experience in developing and supporting large development initiatives that are similar in scope and complexity to the VA’s CMOP.
• Experience in C++ and/or C#, preferably in both. 6 years C#.NET / C++
  • Half of the tasks for this work require C++ and the other half of the tasks require C#.
    • The current state of the project is that most of the software running in the CMOP factories is legacy C++.
    • The future state (objective) of the project is to transition completely to C#. Developers code in C# on new project work when feasible.
  • Software Developer needs to be equally strong in C++ and C# to support the project.
• Requires expert knowledge of and ability to apply advanced technical principles, theories, and concepts.
• Experience developing interactive web applications.
• Front-end web design and development (WebAPI, MVC Razor, JavaScript, JQuery, JSON, AJAX, CSS, HTML5).
• Solid experience and skills in designing and implementing object-oriented software solutions with an emphasis on industry best practices and design patterns C# (WCF, Web Services, MVC) MSSQL/T-SQL, and JavaScript.
• Web Services (REST).
• Experience with Visual Studio 2019/2012.
• Windows Development.
• Experience with automated unit testing and integration testing; Collaborator, self-starter, and strategic providing input to technical design to meet project objectives.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and deliver results key milestone targets.
