What You Will Do
  • Use signal processing and machine learning to invent and mature new technologies related to automobiles, headphones, single or multi-channel speaker systems, microphones, speech systems and beyond.
  • Design audio systems and/or audio algorithms that measurably deliver breakthrough experiences and work with the broader team to build proof-of-concept demonstration systems
  • Evangelize technologies developed by the Audio Systems team with internal Business Units and Engineering organizations
  • Make the appropriate trade-offs to enable productization of technologies to mass production scale
  • Evaluate existing technologies for market readiness through benchmarking
  • Transfer new technologies to commercialization teams
  • Write reports, white papers, and patent applications
What You Need
  • Minimum of Bachelor’s degree in signal processing related discipline: physics, acoustics, music technology, computer science, electrical engineering etc. plus twelve years of relevant acoustic science/engineering industry experience.
  • Theoretical understanding of acoustic systems (microphones, headphones, single or multi-channel loudspeakers, etc.) and signal processing algorithms
  • Demonstrated knowledge of machine learning algorithms and techniques with applicability for real world problems
  • Prior experience on optimization techniques applied across complex, loosely structured data
  • Experience with acoustical test and measurement methods & tuning
  • Experience with acoustical data analysis using MATLAB, Python, C++ or equivalent
  • Ability to work in a global matrixed organization and communicate at all levels
