Working with an Excellent Client that is looking to hire a Estates and Trust Paralegal. This posotion is a direct hire with a starting salary of $75-$85k. This posotion is also on-site only 3 days a week.

Job Description:
Were seeking an experienced estate and trust paralegal to join our legal team, based in Annapolis, MD. This individual will work as part of a team on estate planning and probate matters. The role will have a heavy focus on probate and trust administration. The ideal candidate will have excellent research and writing skills, knowledge of estate, trust and probate law in PA and NJ; and demonstrated experience working with complex, high-net-worth clients, as well as estates & trusts. Must demonstrate high standards of professional excellence, a commitment to outstanding client satisfaction, ability to work well with others, and a strong work ethic.
Job Duties:
- Administering decedents' estates and trusts, including drafting probate filings and preparation of fiduciary accountings and estate tax returns.
- Analyzing bank and business records, identifying trust and non-trust assets, and identifying title and character of assets.
- Cutting checks for estates and trusts.
- Drafting wills, trusts, advanced medical directives and durable powers of attorney.
- Preparing legal documents for signing.
- Preparing asset transfer documents, such as deeds, asset assignments and designated beneficiary forms.
- Analyzing bank and business records, identifying trust and non-trust assets, and identifying title and character of assets.
- Drafting petitions and the supporting documents for probate, ancillary probate, and trust administration.
- Calendaring and maintaining critical deadlines for estate and trust administration cases in an electronic calendar system.
- Drafting probate filings and accounting for trusts and estates
- Extensive communication with clients, financial planners and accountants.
