Details:

• Onsite in Catonsville, MD -> hybrid after 90 days 
• 6 month contract to hire 
• $25 to 32/hr -> 55k to 65k/yr

Day to Day:

• Review AR posting to ensure compliance and accurate coding of GL accounts
• Provide leadership and mentoring to Accounts Receivable Specialists
• Ensure daily responsibilities of AR Specialists are completed timely
• Work with interdepartmental associates to resolve outstanding pricing and quantity discrepancies
• Review and approve new customer set up and recommend credit limits based on corporate guidelines
• Ensure credit memo accuracy by working with appropriate departments and obtaining proper approvals
• Ensure all AR past due customer accounts are identified and followed up on
• Timely review of customers who are on credit hold

Qualifications:

• Medical billing experience 
• Bachelors degree in accounting or business related field
• Minimum 3 years of experience in accounting
• Thorough knowledge of GAAP accounting principles
• Excellent organizational skills to balance and prioritize work
• Problem solving and troubleshooting skills
• Detail oriented and good time management
