We are seeking a highly motivated and knowledgeable Environmental Scientist to join our team. As an Environmental Scientist, you will be responsible for conducting research, collecting and analyzing environmental data, and providing recommendations to mitigate and manage environmental impact. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of environmental regulations, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to communicate scientific findings effectively. This role requires a passion for environmental conservation and a commitment to promoting sustainable practices. This position is hybrid with frequent travel to local/regional sites.

Responsibilities:

• Environmental Research: Conduct research on environmental issues, including studying ecosystems, pollution sources, climate change, and natural resource management.
• Data Collection and Analysis: Collect samples, measurements, and data from various environmental sources, such as air, water, soil, and wildlife. Analyze collected data using statistical and scientific methods to identify trends, patterns, and potential environmental risks.
• Environmental Impact Assessment: Assess the potential environmental impact of proposed projects, such as construction sites, industrial developments, or infrastructure projects. Evaluate environmental risks and provide recommendations to minimize or mitigate adverse effects.
• Compliance and Regulation: Stay up-to-date with local, state, and federal environmental regulations. Ensure projects and activities adhere to environmental laws and regulations, such as the Clean Water Act, Clean Air Act, and Endangered Species Act.
• Environmental Monitoring: Develop and implement monitoring programs to track environmental indicators, including air quality, water quality, biodiversity, and habitat health. Regularly collect and analyze data to assess environmental changes and identify emerging issues.
• Report Writing and Documentation: Prepare detailed reports summarizing research findings, environmental assessments, and recommendations. Communicate scientific information in a clear and concise manner for both technical and non-technical audiences.
