Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Cloud System Administrator Lead with over 5 years of experience in cloud-focused system administration. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the design, implementation, and maintenance of our cloud-based systems, ensuring seamless integration and efficient operation. This position requires onsite one day per month.

Candidates must have one of the following: AWS Certified SystemOps Administrator, Professional level certification or AWS Certified Solutions Architect

Responsibilities:

• Design and manage cloud-based infrastructure and services, ensuring high availability, scalability, and security.

• Lead a team of cloud system administrators, providing guidance, mentorship, and technical expertise.

• Develop and implement best practices for cloud system administration, including monitoring, performance optimization, and disaster recovery.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the smooth integration of cloud-based solutions into the existing IT infrastructure.

• Perform regular system maintenance tasks, including software updates, security patches, and system backups.

• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to cloud-based systems and services.

• Conduct regular performance assessments and provide recommendations for system improvements and optimizations.

• Stay updated on the latest developments in cloud technology and identify opportunities for the implementation of new tools and services.

• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements related to cloud infrastructure and data security.
