Helpdesk Specialist

Required skills

- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or proven track record of equivalent experience

- 3+ years technical support experience OR 3+ years sysadmin employment in a similar product environment

Proven ability to detect and diagnose complex and critical technical issues effectively and efficiently
Experience of troubleshooting in Java environment

- General knowledge and understanding of the following:

Application servers (Tomcat, JBoss)
Databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle, etc.); search engines (Solr, Lucene, etc.)
Programming and related technologies (Java, JavaScript, Ajax, REST, etc.)
Git or SVN: experience is a must
Network and related protocols (HTTP, HTTPS, FTP, OAuth, LDAP, etc.)
Infrastructure and cloud solutions(AWS, Microsoft Azure, Docker, Chef, Puppet, etc.)
Virtual environments (VMware, VirtualBox, Vagrant, etc.)

- Learn and give instruction in new technologies as required
