Role and Responsibilities

Enter and track standard costs
Manage new inventory items within the accounting system
Manage month end inventory counts, investigate discrepancies and variances for raw materials, finished goods and merchandise
Track product batches throughout the production cycle
Enter production transactions
Manage integration of programs into main accounting system
Producing monthly reports as well as customized reports as requested

Qualifications and Education Requirements

Excellent understanding of general ledger transactions
Strong understanding of accounting theories and practices
Ability to work closely with all departments
Communicates clearly in all oral and written communications
Self-starter willing to take on new responsibilities
Experience in a manufacturing accounting role preferred

Preferred Skills

BA or BS in Accounting
Strong Excel skills including PowerPivot, Excel Builder and SQL database experience
Great Plains experience a plus
IT skills a plus
2-4 years experience
