Our office in Birmingham, Alabama is currently looking for a Senior Civil or Architectural Engineer to investigate the root causes of damage to buildings or other structures, and then provide your findings to clients in both verbal and written reports. As you transition into your role of a forensic engineer, you’ll be supported by a team of top-notch professionals prepared to assist you every step of the way. A Bachelor of Science degree in Civil or Architectural Engineering,
A Professional Engineering license in the state of Alabama, or the ability to obtain this license soon after hire,
10+ yrs. of Civil/Structural or Architectural Engineering experience,
And, you must be physically capable of performing inspections in hot or cold weather; must be able to perform inspections on steep slope roof systems (after training), crawl spaces, attics and other areas of possibly difficult access. In addition, equipment use will require that you are capable of moving and lifting at least 50-pounds at a time.
