Bachelor of Arts Degree from a four-year accredited college or university
Federal proposal management required
Superior organization and delegation skills to manage deadlines from multiple individuals across teams that include members from partner companies
Strong time management and self direction to manage several projects simultaneously
Ability to maintain a flexible schedule (late evenings, weekends, and holidays) and to work extra hours during peak proposal activity time, which can be at any point during the year, though availability from June through September is critical.
High level expertise with Microsoft Office Suite (especially Word, Excel and PowerPoint) is a must — formatting, Track changes, Quick Styles, Tables & Charts, desktop graphics, etc…
Ability to collaborate with and/or interview Technical staff such as AV Engineers, technical project managers, subject matter experts etc. to gain relevant and timely information
Superior people skills with demonstrated ability to create rapport with various stakeholders, solicit high quality responses, and meet deadlines
Ability to process technical information and to communicate this information in ways that are accessible to the general public
Excellent writing and editing skills. Demonstrated professional experience with proposal/ technical/marketing writing
Professional communication skills to interact with all levels of authority in all departments.
Knowledge of the Federal contracting environment and procurement cycles, including knowledge of proposal-related jargon and terminology required
