We currently are looking for junior to mid-level systems administrator. As a systems administrator on our government programs you will provide support on various systems and application program life cycle to include design, Formulates and defines system scope and objectives through research and fact-finding to develop or modify moderately complex information systems.
Duties include but not limited to:
◾Prepares detailed specifications for programs & systems of programs.
◾Knowledge of: Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG), hardening best practices, and DoD Information Assurance
◾Maintains Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) Operating System (OS) for program of record to include: log analysis, patch execution, system monitoring, system backups, and configuration changes.
◾Works on most phases of applications systems analysis and programming activities including the installation of enhancements, security features, and analytical tools, but requires instruction and guidance in other phases.
◾Development, analysis and implementation.
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline
Minimum of two years of increasingly complex and progressive experience in performing systems analysis, development, and implementation of business, mathematical, engineering or scientific settings using a variety of information technology resources. Has experience with current technologies and, where required for the task, emerging technologies.
Security + and Red Hat Enterprise System Administrator Certification required
