Our client is looking for a Junior to mid Account Executive who is highly motivated with a hunger to impact our business to join our Sales team in Maryland.  This role will be responsible for new account development using lead client lists and to further expand existing accounts in their assigned, named account, and /or geographic territory. This position sells Our clients solutions including hardware, software and technical solutions and offers unlimited potential for personal, professional and financial growth.

Job Duties and Responsibilities


Strategically target and acquire new Enterprise opportunities in the commercial and/or public sector by identifying and pursuing prospects through various lead generated activities, including client lead lists, tradeshow, direct mailing, advertising, and cold-calling.

Team with Our client’ partners including Dell, HP, Juniper, Cisco, Microsoft, Aruba, EMC, and Vmware to leverage Our client’ products and competencies to drive sales.

Learn how to conduct an in-depth needs analysis for prospective customers that will result in an understanding of the prospect’s business goals.

Ability to articulate Our client’ value proposition to effectively position Our client as a solution provider and demonstrate how our solutions differ from the other integrators and demonstrate the impact & value/ROI (Return on Investments) of products and services.

Team with technical, engineering, customer service, and related support staff to ensure end-to-end customer sales and satisfaction.

Use of several self education methods such as, computer based and team training to become a subject matter expert in technologies, processes, and services.

Achieve and exceed established monthly sales quotas.

Maintain and report sales prospecting activity, including funnels, appointments, and 30/60/90 day forecasts. Familiarity with using Microsoft CRM or equivalent strongly desired.

Understand and adapt to constantly changing products in a perpetually changing industry.

Identify and resolve a wide range of issues with little or no supervision.

Represent company at outside events (i.e. trade shows, conferences);



Knowledge, Skills and Abilities


1-2 +years experience selling for systems integrator, VAR, as an outside AE a plus.
Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Ability to learn technical aspects of the solutions.
Demonstrated ability to prospect, cold call, up sell, follow-up and close.
Skills at identifying decision-makers and building strong executive relationships.
Strong communication, presentation skills, listening, and writing skills.
Ability to understand and articulate how solutions and services can positively impact organizations operations.
Proficiency in MS Office Suite including Word, Excel and PowerPoint;
Clean driving record and must be able to pass a criminal background check.
4-year college degree preferred.





Base salary + variable commission + car allowance
