Duties and Responsibilities:
Ensure adequate Government property accountability control systems for transfer of property to end users..
Evaluate policies, procedures, and techniques, and changes thereto, pertaining to Management of Government property.
Develop, plan, schedule, or perform system surveys to analyze and evaluate the completeness of systems issued for Government property management.
Maintain surveillance over the property management system to assure that the requirements and obligations of each assigned contract are met for accountability of systems being transferred..
Disclose and evaluate conditions of loss, damage, or destruction of Government property, and determine liability.
Evaluate inventory adjustments of transferred equipment from Government program office to end user [UIC or DUIC].
Work with local property office to determine appropriate Unit Identification code (UIC) or Derivative Unit Identification Code (DUIC) for each piece of equipment based on end user delivery.
Review all inventory related deliverables and performance work statement for potential process improvement related to property accountability.
Coordinate transfer of property.
Knowledge, Skill, and Abilities
Minimum ten years of experience in property management. Five of which should be related to management of Government property through PBUSE.
Background knowledge/experience with Land Mobile Radio Systems is desired.
