Our client is currently seeking Mid- to Senior-level Developers to work in our Camp Hill. PA. This is a long term temporary assignment (minimum 40 hours per week for over a year). The Mid-Senior Developers would join a team sustaining and enhancing the national award-winning Intelligent Road and Rail Information Server (IRRIS) supporting the Surface Deployment and Distribution Center’s (SDDC) Transportation Engineering Agency (TEA). This innovative system supports our Department of Defense transportation logistics platform development for the United States Transportation Command (USTRANSCOM). The IRRIS logistics platform serves as a keystone for the movement of support equipment and supplies for the Department of Defense around the world. This exciting project provides the opportunity for an individual to grow their career while working with a young, motivated project team, in a dynamic work environment.
Work as part of a software development team to develop solutions based on client requirements
Participate in application requirements gathering and design meetings
Support the development of solution designs and testing scripts
Support under the direction of a technical architect, the development of solution modules
Oversee testing workflows on code and review recorded findings, working with development team to resolve defects
Be able to support rapid application development with prototypes, etc.
Attend project status meetings as required
BS in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, GIS, or related field required.
3-6+ years’ experience developing web applications within enterprise architectures
Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently
Ability to manage tasks and timelines effectively
Demonstrable ability to work as part of an integrated solution development team
Must be able to obtain a security clearance. None US citizens need not apply.
Strong web development design skills, including information architecture, interface design, visual design
Experience in the development of web services and APIs
Knowledge of CSS3 and HTML5
Experience with C#, ASP.NET
Experience with server-side MVC frameworks such as ASP.net, MVC, Ruby on Rails or Zend Framework
Experience with object-relational mapper such as NHibernate
Experience working with relational database management systems such as Oracle or Microsoft SQL Server
Experience using bug/issue tracking software such as Jira, TestTrack, Bugzilla, etc.
Experience using a source code repository such as Git, Surround, Subversion, etc.
