Documentation Tester - ICD-503

Job Description

Candidate will support a software team responsible for the development and maintenance of a financial based web application. Having just completed in-depth security testing/validation, we are in the process up updating our documentation. We are seeing a candidate that can create/modify technical documentation according to identified deficiencies.


Documentation must ICD-503 compliant. Most of the documentation exists, but needs to be tweaked according to findings. In some cases, documentation will need to be created.


Technical Responsibilities:

Has ability to produce and update documentation for a browser based financial application.  Would be able to create and edit documentation in MS Word. Familiar with screen capture tools a must. Also needs to be able to create diagrams using VISIO, and other visual/graphics related tools.


Candidate must have experience with technical documentation that is required within an DoDIIS/Intelligence Community producing ICD-503 compliant documents such as:  System Security Plan (SSP), Functional Requirements Document, (FRD), Interface Control Document (ICD),  Disaster Recovery Plan (DRP), Test Plans, Requirements Traceability Matrix (RTM), Users Manual, Sys Admin Man, Test Planning Document (TPD) ….


Should be familiar with information assurance, security, and computer technology terminology. Knowledge of NIST 800-53 Department of Defense Joint Security Implementation Guide (DJSIG), and the Intelligence Community Directives (ICD 503 preferred.


Excellent verbal and communications skills a must
