CMM Quality Control Technician

Role Description Quality Control Technician

  Job Specific Competencies


Advanced Blue Print Reading – including GD&T
CMM programming (specifically open DIMIS)
CMM operation (Specifically open DIMIS)
Inspection arm programming and operation (specifically FARO ARM)
Familiarity with Production Part Approval Process
Advanced open set-up skills
Calibration experience (not core requirement)
Efficient with Microsoft applications (Word and Excel)
Understanding of SPC (Statistical Process Control – specifically using Minitab)
Understanding of GR&R
Utilization of precision measuring instruments (micrometer, surface plates, calipers, etc.)
English/Metric conversion
Scientific calculator – basic trigonometry and geometry
Familiarity with Quality Management Systems (ISO/TS16949)
