Senior electronic Tech’s are responsible for testing and inspecting of precision electronic/mechanical devices, documenting and reporting on the tests performed, and the troubleshooting of these devices.
Second shift opportunity.
Perform functional tests on products at sub-assembly and final assembly level.
Troubleshoot failed products/subassembly to component level and or root cause.
Test products per written test procedures, verify current revision level of product, and visually inspect products for appearance and workmanship prior to final turn in.
A.A. Degree in Electronic Engineering Technology or equivalent technical/military certification.
Five years experience as a bench technician, troubleshooting and repairing electronic assemblies to the component level.
Knowledge of common test equipment; oscilloscopes, multi-meters, signal/function generators, frequency counters, etc.
Ability to read, understand and analyze schematic drawings.
Familiarity with Microsoft Operating Systems.
Proficient in the use of Hyper-Terminal, Procomm, or Tera Term software.
