Job Title: Drupal Developer

Location: Chantilly, VA

Compensation: $120k-$160k

Job Overview: We are seeking an experienced Drupal Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in web development, with expertise in Drupal CMS. The Drupal Developer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining web solutions that meet client needs and project requirements.

Responsibilities:

1. Drupal Development:

   • Design, develop, and maintain Drupal-based websites and applications.
   • Customize and extend Drupal modules to meet project requirements.
   • Implement responsive web design principles to ensure a seamless user experience across devices.

2. Theme Development:

   • Create and modify Drupal themes to achieve a visually appealing and consistent look and feel.
   • Ensure that the website or application is optimized for performance and speed.

3. Module Development:

   • Develop custom Drupal modules to add functionality and features as needed.
   • Integrate third-party modules and plugins when required.

4. Collaboration:

   • Work closely with front-end and back-end developers, designers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of components.
   • Collaborate with project managers to understand client requirements and deliver solutions that meet or exceed expectations.

5. Quality Assurance:

   • Conduct thorough testing of websites and applications to identify and fix bugs, security vulnerabilities, and performance issues.
   • Ensure that the websites and applications are compatible with various browsers and devices.

6. Documentation:

   • Create and maintain technical documentation for code, configurations, and workflows.
   • Keep abreast of Drupal updates and best practices, and share knowledge with the team.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Proven experience as a Drupal Developer with a strong portfolio of Drupal-based projects.
• In-depth knowledge of Drupal architecture, best practices, and coding standards.
• Proficiency in PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other relevant web technologies.
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and deployment workflows.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Drupal certification is a plus.
• Familiarity with other CMS platforms and web development frameworks.
• Experience with e-commerce solutions built on Drupal.
• Knowledge of SEO best practices.
