As a DSP Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and implementing cutting-edge DSP algorithms and systems. Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and optimize digital signal processing algorithms for various applications, such as audio, image, video, communications, or biomedical.
- Implement and test DSP algorithms using programming languages and tools such as MATLAB, C/C++, Python, or FPGA development platforms.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including hardware engineers, software developers, and researchers, to integrate DSP solutions into larger systems or products.
- Conduct performance analysis and optimization of DSP algorithms, ensuring efficient resource utilization and meeting real-time processing requirements.
- Debug and troubleshoot signal processing issues, utilizing analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve complex problems.
- Stay up to date with the latest advancements in DSP technology and research, applying that knowledge to improve existing algorithms and develop new ones.
- Validate and verify DSP systems through simulation, modeling, and testing, ensuring accuracy, reliability, and compliance with specifications.
- Document and communicate the design, implementation, and testing processes, producing technical reports and presentations as necessary.
- Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to define project requirements, timelines, and deliverables.
- Contribute to the intellectual property of the organization through innovation, research, and patent filings
