Job description

• Develop and write CNC programs for various machining operations using CATIA software
• Analyze engineering drawings, schematics, and specifications to determine the best approach for machining parts
• Select appropriate tools, tooling, and fixtures for each machining operation
• Set up and operate CNC machines to produce precision parts
• Monitor and adjust machine settings to ensure accuracy and quality of finished products
• Perform routine maintenance on machines and equipment to ensure optimal performance
• Use precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, and other tools to verify dimensions and tolerances of machined parts
• Conduct inspections of finished parts to ensure compliance with specifications and quality standards
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to programming, tooling, or machine performance

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $50,000.00 - $63,000.00 per year

• Newport News, VA: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Experience:

• SolidWorks: 3 years (Required)
• CNC programming: 2 years (Required)
