Job Title: Commercial Construction Manager

Location: Northern Virginia 

Compensation: $100k-$130k

Job Summary: The Commercial Construction Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and supervising all aspects of commercial construction projects from inception to completion. This role involves managing budgets, schedules, subcontractors, and ensuring the project's overall success while adhering to safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Project Planning:

   • Develop project plans, including scope, budget, and schedule.
   • Collaborate with architects, engineers, and stakeholders to establish project requirements.
   • Obtain necessary permits and approvals.

2. Budget Management:

   • Prepare and manage project budgets, including cost estimates and cost tracking.
   • Monitor and control project costs to stay within budget constraints.

3. Contracting and Procurement:

   • Select and manage subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors.
   • Negotiate contracts and ensure adherence to contract terms and conditions.

4. Project Scheduling:

   • Develop detailed project schedules and milestones.
   • Monitor progress and adjust schedules as needed to meet deadlines.

5. Quality Control:

   • Implement and enforce quality control standards to ensure construction meets specifications.
   • Conduct regular inspections to identify and address defects or issues.

6. Safety Compliance:

   • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and best practices on the construction site.
   • Implement safety programs and conduct safety training for the team.

7. Team Management:

   • Supervise and lead construction teams, including on-site staff and subcontractors.
   • Resolve conflicts and provide guidance to ensure a cohesive and efficient work environment.
