Growing government contractor looking to hire a C++ Software Engineer to their team. All viable candidates need to be US Citizen and able to attain a DOD clearance. 

Responsibilities: 

• Utilize modern software tools in agile environment to develop critical combat system software 
• Design, development, integration and test software
• Develop object-oriented C++ and/or Java in LINUX environment 
• Prepare SW engineering documentation 
• Prepare and present engineering material within the peer review process and to customer as appropriate

Qualifications

• US Citizenship
• 3+ years of experience in a similar role
• BS in Computer Science, Software / Systems Engineering or related scientific field of study
• Strong foundation in software development with experience with Java or C++
• Ability to attain and hold a DoD Secret Clearance

Preferred Qualifications

• Technical understanding of cartographic projections and coordinate systems
• Experience with JavaScript, JSON and/or GeoJSON
• Experience with World Wind GIS development
• Experience with WMS/WFS Globe integration
• Experience with message-driven processing
• Experience with OpenGL and 3D transforms
• Familiarity with a Linux environment
