Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Commercial Construction Manager to oversee and manage our construction projects. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully delivering high-quality commercial construction projects within budget and on schedule. The Commercial Construction Manager will be responsible for coordinating all aspects of the construction process, from planning and budgeting to execution and project completion, while ensuring compliance with safety regulations and quality standards. Travel involved to project sites in Maryland and Northern VA.

Responsibilities:

• Plan and oversee all phases of commercial construction projects, including budgeting, scheduling, resource allocation, and procurement, to ensure the successful and timely completion of projects.

• Manage and coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers, ensuring that all parties adhere to project specifications, timelines, and quality standards.

• Monitor and control project budgets and costs, identifying and addressing any variances, and implementing cost-saving measures without compromising quality and safety.

• Develop and maintain project schedules, timelines, and milestones, providing regular updates to stakeholders and implementing strategies to mitigate delays and potential risks.

• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and quality standards, implementing and enforcing strict safety protocols to create a secure and hazard-free work environment for all construction personnel.

• Coordinate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure that project plans and designs are executed accurately and in accordance with the agreed-upon specifications and requirements.

• Conduct regular site visits and inspections to monitor construction progress, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions to ensure that projects are completed according to the established standards and guidelines.

• Collaborate with project owners and stakeholders to provide regular updates, address concerns, and ensure that the project meets their expectations and requirements.

• Lead and manage a team of construction professionals, providing guidance, support, and mentorship to foster a collaborative and efficient work environment that promotes productivity and excellence in project execution.

• Stay updated on industry trends, construction methodologies, and best practices, applying this knowledge to enhance project management processes and deliver innovative and cost-effective solutions for commercial construction projects.
