Growing Cyber Security company looking to hire a Cisco Unified Communications Engineer. The position does require a Top Secret / SCI clearance.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Scoping UC solutions and planning implementation to support written requirements on a per project basis
- Create Low-Level Designs in accordance with Cisco Best Practice
- Verify configuration of Cisco components meets STIG requirements
- Cisco ASA 5506-X
- Cisco Catalyst switches
- Cisco ISR with CUBE
- CUCM 11.5
- Assist with configuration of Cisco components
- Cisco ASA 5506-X
- Cisco Catalyst switches
- Cisco ISR with CUBE
- CUCM 11.5
- Integrate designs with V2CDS as needed
- Management network (KVM)
- Environmental (racking, cabling) as needed
- Create implementation and test plans
- Provide solution support
- Support Security Controls and Hardening of network components
- ACAS and SCAP
- Apply STIG solutions
- Providing remote support to various clients
- Troubleshoot and resolve communications related issues
- Cisco and network devices
- RedHat and VMS
- Submit, monitor, resolved issues by coordinating with Cisco Technical Assistance Center (TAC)
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems, Computer Network Technology or comparable
- DoD Approved 8570 Baseline Certification (IAT Level I or higher)
- 5+ years of experience in systems integration and IT security
- Candidates must be able to obtain and maintain a background investigation.
- Candidates must have valid US Passport (25% travel CONUS and OCONUS)
Job Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Competencies:
Required:
- 5+ years of CUCM Experience
- 2+ years of ASA Firewall Experience
- 5+ years of CISCO IOS Switch Experience
- Relevant Experience: Systems engineering supporting installation and configuration VoIP systems, including configuring and troubleshooting PBX systems, and XMPP chat servers and clients switch experience (telnet, VLAN, ssh, Access and Trunking), Collaboration Experience (CUCM), Cisco FirePOWER Services Module (SFR), Cisco ASA 5500-X
Preferred:
- Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) Collaboration and Security (highly desired)
- Strong system administration skills, including Active Directory, LDAP, Windows Server 12 or higher, Linux experience, Ubuntu and/or CentOS
