Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Adjudicator with expert-level proficiency in Defense Information System for Security (DISS) and the Joint Personnel Adjudication System (JPAS) to join our team. As an Expert Adjudicator, you will play a critical role in ensuring the security clearance process runs smoothly and efficiently. Your in-depth knowledge of DISS and JPAS will be essential in making determinations regarding security clearances for our personnel. Secret clearance is required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Security Clearance Adjudication: Evaluate security clearance requests and make informed decisions based on a thorough analysis of available information within DISS and JPAS.

• Expertise in DISS & JPAS: Utilize advanced knowledge of DISS and JPAS to navigate the systems, update records, and perform complex security clearance adjudications.

• Documentation and Record-Keeping: Maintain meticulous records of all adjudication decisions, ensuring compliance with security clearance policies and procedures.

• Investigation Coordination: Collaborate with security and investigative personnel to gather additional information when necessary to make informed adjudication decisions.

• Training and Mentorship: Provide guidance and training to junior adjudicators, helping them develop their skills in DISS and JPAS.

• Continuous Improvement: Stay up-to-date with changes and updates in DISS, JPAS, and security clearance policies to ensure compliance and efficiency.

• Security Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to security protocols and maintain the confidentiality and integrity of sensitive information.
