Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Bridge Inspector/Remedial Design Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will play a pivotal role in inspecting and assessing the condition of bridges, identifying structural deficiencies, and designing remedial solutions to ensure the safety and functionality of these vital transportation assets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Bridge Inspection: Conduct thorough inspections of bridges to assess their structural integrity and identify deficiencies.

  • Follow established inspection protocols, safety procedures, and regulatory standards.

  • Document inspection findings and prepare detailed reports.

  • Structural Analysis: Utilize advanced engineering software and tools to perform structural analysis and evaluate the load-bearing capacity of bridges.

  • Analyze data collected during inspections to make informed recommendations.

  • Remedial Design: Develop remedial design solutions to address identified deficiencies in bridge structures.

  • Prepare detailed engineering plans, drawings, and specifications for repair and rehabilitation projects.

  • Ensure designs adhere to applicable codes, standards, and regulations.

  • Project Management: Manage bridge remediation projects from conception to completion, including budgeting and scheduling.

  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure successful project execution.

  • Monitor project progress and quality to ensure compliance with design specifications.

  • Regulatory Compliance: Stay updated on industry best practices, codes, and regulations related to bridge design and inspection.

  • Ensure all projects meet legal and regulatory requirements.
