Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced Construction Controller to oversee the financial aspects of our construction projects. The Construction Controller will play a key role in managing financial operations, budgeting, reporting, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. This position requires strong financial acumen, leadership skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. This position features a 5-20% annual performance bonus.
Financial Management: Manage all financial aspects of construction projects, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
Monitor project financial performance and implement corrective actions when necessary.
Ensure accurate and timely financial data entry and transactions.
Budgeting and Forecasting: Prepare project budgets and forecasts, working closely with project managers and estimators.
Track actual costs against budgeted amounts and provide variance analysis.
Identify and communicate budgetary concerns and opportunities for cost savings.
Financial Reporting: Generate and analyze financial reports, including profit and loss statements, cash flow statements, and balance sheets.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for management and stakeholders.
Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
Cost Control: Implement and maintain cost control measures to optimize project profitability.
Review project costs, invoices, and expenditures to identify discrepancies and cost-saving opportunities.
Cash Management: Manage cash flow to ensure sufficient funds are available for project needs.
Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
