Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced Construction Controller to oversee the financial aspects of our construction projects. The Construction Controller will play a key role in managing financial operations, budgeting, reporting, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. This position requires strong financial acumen, leadership skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. This position features a 5-20% annual performance bonus.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Management: Manage all financial aspects of construction projects, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.

  • Monitor project financial performance and implement corrective actions when necessary.

  • Ensure accurate and timely financial data entry and transactions.

  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Prepare project budgets and forecasts, working closely with project managers and estimators.

  • Track actual costs against budgeted amounts and provide variance analysis.

  • Identify and communicate budgetary concerns and opportunities for cost savings.

  • Financial Reporting: Generate and analyze financial reports, including profit and loss statements, cash flow statements, and balance sheets.

  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for management and stakeholders.

  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.

  • Cost Control: Implement and maintain cost control measures to optimize project profitability.

  • Review project costs, invoices, and expenditures to identify discrepancies and cost-saving opportunities.

  • Cash Management: Manage cash flow to ensure sufficient funds are available for project needs.

  • Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
