Responsibilities of the Human Resources Generalist:
- Manage and enforce company policies in a multi-state environment.
- Administers employee leave programs in accordance with applicable federal and state laws and regulations.
- Manages benefit, recognition, and incentive programs towards higher utilization and increase employee job satisfaction.
- Manage the annual focal evaluation cycle and track employee growth.
- Manage employee orientation, development and training.
- Collaborate with payroll and legal to ensure accurate and complete information has been provided regarding employees' LOA or disability claims.
- Providing timely and accurate information and responses to employees and management on benefit programs as they relate to leave status
- Maintaining a strong working knowledge of STN’s policies to cover employee matters.
- Keep up to date on current industry practices, developments, and government regulations related to personnel matters; to include identifying relevant benefits at renewal.
- Identifying issues and concerns as they arise and proactively recommending a plan for resolution.
- Communicating effectively with a high level of customer service and maintain a professional working relationships with existing or new third-party vendors/providers.
- Processing new enrollments and coordinating with business partners to ensure employees are onboarded/offboarded to plans as appropriate
- Perform ad hoc projects as needed.
Skills of the Human Resources Generalist:
- Bachelor’s degree in HR or business related field
- Minimum 1+ years of HR Generalist
- Demonstrated proficiency using Office365, intermediate Excel, PowerPoint and Word skills (Smartsheets a big plus).
- Strong technical skills, experience, and familiarity with HR software (ADP)
