Finance Project Controller (Hybrid)
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Finance Project Controller with extensive experience in Deltek, and preferably, a strong background in managing overhead and GNA (General and Administrative) costs. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing financial activities and ensuring the successful execution of projects within our organization. This role requires meticulous attention to detail, exceptional analytical skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with various teams within the company. This is a 3 month contract to direct hire and is hybrid 1-3 days a week onsite.
Manage and monitor the financial aspects of multiple projects, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control, to ensure adherence to financial objectives and guidelines.
Utilize Deltek software to oversee project accounting, invoicing, and financial reporting, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company standards and procedures.
Develop and maintain project budgets, track expenses, and identify potential areas for cost savings and process improvements.
Conduct regular financial analyses and provide comprehensive reports on project financial performance, including detailed variance analysis and recommendations for corrective actions.
Collaborate with project managers and other relevant stakeholders to provide financial guidance and support in decision-making processes, ensuring alignment with project goals and financial targets.
Monitor and analyze overhead and GNA costs, identifying opportunities for optimization and efficiency enhancements while maintaining necessary support for ongoing operations.
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal financial policies, highlighting potential risks and proposing appropriate mitigation strategies.
Support the preparation of financial presentations and contribute to the communication of financial results to senior management and other stakeholders.
