Federal Sales Manager-Radar/ SATCOM
Job Summary: As a Federal Sales Manager specializing in the EW Satellites, MILCOM, Radar, or SATCOM industries, you will lead our efforts to expand our footprint within federal government and military markets. You will be responsible for developing and executing strategic sales initiatives, building and maintaining relationships with key government stakeholders, and driving revenue growth in these specialized sectors. Remote 1-2 days per week. This position features a potential 15% bonus based off sales goals, 15% bonus based on salary.
Key Responsibilities:
Market Strategy: Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to penetrate the federal government and military markets, with a focus on EW Satellites, MILCOM, Radar, or SATCOM industries.
Client Relationship Management: Build and nurture relationships with key decision-makers, program managers, and procurement officials within government agencies and military organizations.
Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including government contracts, task orders, and partnerships, to expand our presence in target markets.
Product Knowledge: Maintain a deep understanding of our products and services, as well as industry trends and competitors' offerings, to effectively communicate their value to clients.
Sales Presentations: Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals tailored to the unique needs and requirements of government clients.
Contract Negotiation: Lead contract negotiations and pricing discussions to secure profitable and mutually beneficial agreements.
Forecasting: Provide accurate sales forecasts and reports to senior management, tracking progress towards revenue targets.
Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with all federal regulations and procurement processes, including FAR/DFARS requirements.
Team Collaboration: Collaborate with internal teams, including product development, engineering, and marketing, to align strategies and deliver exceptional customer experiences.
Networking: Attend industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events to stay informed about industry trends and to expand your professional network.
