Sitecore Developer

SUMMARY

The Web Developer’s role is to create, maintain, support, and upgrade existing web applications. This includes documenting requirements and scope, configuring and writing application code for the Sitecore CMS, performing testing, and implementing solutions.

ESSENTIAL TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Design & Programming

  • Perform the development of new web applications and/or enhancements to existing web applications throughout the enterprise.
  • Research and make recommendations on software products and services in support of procurement and development of web efforts.
  • Ensure any new web applications integrating into the Association’s systems meet functional requirements, system compliance, and interface specifications.
  • Collaborate with internal analysts, designers, programmers, and other stakeholders in the testing of new web applications.
  • Partner with applications development team on performing code deployments, including merging code into appropriate development branches and maintaining code in shared repositories.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/SKILLS

Minimum BA/BS Computer related degree.

Sitecore certification required.
Core technical skills:

  • 5+ years of Sitecore CMS
  • 5+ years of Visual Studio
  • 5+ years of SQL Server Management Studio
  • 3+ GitHub
  • 3+ years Agile methodologies

Programming languages/skill:

  • 5+ years .NET
  • 5+ years SQL
  • 5+ years HTML/CSS
  • 3+ JS/AJAX/JSON
  • Knowledge of SOAP and web services
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, customer service skills, and organizational skills.
  • Must have excellent attention to detail.
  • Must be able to collaborate in a friendly team environment.
  • Strong ability to prioritize multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and work well under pressure.
