Great opportunity for Tier II/Tier III Desktop Support Analyst.
Strong focus on SCCM skills.
• Hardware and OS imaging – Take full ownership of the central management of enterprise client computers (currently 6,000+ and growing). (25%)
o Design, Implement, Test, Deploy and Maintain operating system images for all standard corporate computers.
o Evaluate new hardware. Design, Create, Test, and Implement new images.
• Application and Software Deployments using SCCM 2012 – Take full ownership of the central management of automated software deployment activities. (30%)
o Design, Implement, Test, Deploy and Maintain automated application deployments.
o Assess, Test, Deploy and Validate compliance of monthly Microsoft security patches.
• Tier III End-User Support (15%)
o Diagnose hardware, software, and end-user problems and take corrective action or recommend procedural changes.
o Work collaboratively with network operations, application development, and/or application support teams in order to restore service and/or identify problems.
o Analyze and identify trends and devise preventive solutions. Identify root cause of issues.
• Project Management (30%)
o Provide end-to-end project management for internal group projects. Ex: Deployment of new SCCM server.
o Work with PMO to manage Desktop sub-projects. Ex: Developing and managing eMar portion of PCC project. Assesses and plans group specific tasks related to new corporate mission-critical initiatives.
o Follows industry standard life-cycle processes including Design, Implement, Test, Deploy and Support.
o Collaborates with internal and external resources as necessary.
