The engineer will have 4 to 12 years’ experience on marine, dredging, and environmental projects. Candidates for the position should have a M.S. degree in civil, environmental, coastal, or geotechnical engineering.
Responsibilities for the position includes: field studies, hydraulic/hydrodynamic modeling, engineering analysis, report preparation, client interaction, construction document preparation, and construction oversight. It would be beneficial for candidates to have P.E. license, AutoCAD experience, and experience with contaminated sediments, river, and estuary restoration, dredging, and disposal projects. Familiarity with aquatic-based regulations and permits and port development would also be beneficial. Strong written and verbal communications skills are a must.
