Great IT Security Company looking for an internal IT Systems Administrator.
We are looking for a 5+ year person to provide total support of our IT infrastructure. We are Windows, Linux, and VMware ESXI shop. They will do tier 0-III support. We have about 45 people in the company.
Responsible for the planning, engineering, implementation, operation, security, compliance, continuity, and documentation.
Implementation and design of hardware and software.
Monitors the performance of systems.
Performs backup and recovery of all system configuration and company information.
Configure firewalls, servers, wireless access points, switches, and telephone systems.
Perform Security System Administration to include: Whole Disk Encryption (Data At Rest) installation, Antivirus Installation, IP address management, and hardware inventory management.
Respond to vulnerability scans through patch management and firmware upgrades.
Provide Security Incident Response Services and perform periodic risk assessments.
Develop and enforce Configuration Management Plan, IT Operations Plan, and Information Security Plans.
Create and publish Policies, Procedures, and Requirements.
Active Directory Administration.
Provide Windows Operating System installation, integration, maintenance, security patching, hardening and upgrades.
Work with hardware and software vendors for problem determination and resolution, hardware shipping/receiving.
Develop and document network topology, IT processes, procedures, and work instructions.
Responsible for satisfying all compliance requirements per company and contract(s).
Responsible for ensuring adherence to federal, state, and local laws.
Support 24x7 operations environment (ability to support off-hours, weekends, holidays if needed).
Deploy and perform patch maintenance on Linux and Windows both Desktop and Server environments.
Provide tier 0 through tier 3 Helpdesk support
Support 24x7 Security Incident Response.
Knowledge access to resources that require Elevated Privileges for System Administration.
Knowledge of Information Technology, Network, and IT Security Processes including SCCM
Knowledge of regulations, software baselines, configuration management, policies, and procedures.
Systems include: Windows 7, 8 desktops, RHEL servers, Sharepoint, telephones, switches, Wireless Access Points, peripheral accessories, Active Directory, Multifunction Devices, scanners, fax, printers, and virtual machines.
Understanding of Windows patching, Whole Disk Encryption, Endpoint Antivirus, Microsoft Office applications, and backups.
Experience with engineering software administration.
Ability to write technical documentation.
Ability to educate personnel and communicate effectively.
Must be US Citizen and good communicator.
