With a wide range of knowledge, validate functional/technical requirements/specification against the scheduled build(s) under test. As needed, develop/maintain test cases and execute regression test cases. Analyze and document test results to the level of detail needed to support requirements satisfaction and system performance expectations. Traditional and agile development/testing methods are employed.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Support user requirements of complex to highly complex software applications or IT systems.
Develop, review and execute rigorous, repeatable and detailed system test cases to assure requirements satisfaction, traceability and coverage.
Perform system testing activities at multiple application checkpoints (e.g., installation, user interfaces, integration interfaces, security, database, debug and system logs, etc.) and client environments.
Maintain status of test case execution and inform team leads / project managers of any deviations from functional requirements, technical specification or testing procedures.
Document application defects, usability and system performance issues, and validate subsequent fixes.
Develop and execute simple to complex Oracle SQL queries.
Ensure that the test design and documentation supports applicable project, client, agency or industry mandated standards.
Interface with customers and various company departments to resolve problems that cause test failures. May assist with providing on-site user support during Government Testing periods.
As needed, participate in all phases of software development with emphasis on analysis of user requirements and test design.
As needed, develop/maintain and/or execute automated regression test scripts.
Experience with Selenium's "record and replay" feature, custom script coding and the execution of test automation scripts against multiple supported web browsers (e.g., IE, Opera, Mozilla, and Safari).
Experience load testing with Apache JMeter.
Experience tracking/managing problem reports and change requests with Bugzilla.
Experience performing 508 Compliance testing.
Familiarity with DoD imaged Windows7 OS.
Familiarity with agile development methodology (e.g., Backlog, Planning, Stories, Scrum, Retrospective).
Familiarity with Defense Logistics Agency (DLA), Office of the Under Secretary of Defense (Comptroller), or Cost Assessment Program Evaluation (CAPE) systems are a plus.
Must have an active DoD Secret clearance.
Provides technical/management leadership on major tasks or technology assignments.

Directs and controls activities for a client, having overall responsibility for financial management, methods, and staffing to ensure that technical requirements are met.
Interactions involve client negotiations and interfacing with senior management. Decision making and domain knowledge may have a critical impact on overall project implementation.
May supervise others.
Education / Experience: Requires bachelor's degree in Computer Science, engineering or related field or equivalent, and 7 to 9 years of related experience.
Must have an active DoD Secret Clearance
Physical Demands: Normal demands associated with an office environment. Able to work on computer for long periods, and communicate with individuals by telephone, email and face to face. Some travel may be required
