Overview of Position
The Account Manager will be responsible for achieving revenue goals by working with new and existing customers through outbound phone calls and customer contact to drive our client’s business across an array of industries including aerospace, defense, commercial, automotive, industrial and medical devices. It is critical for the Account Manager to have the ability to identify customer needs and to provide solutions utilizing our client’s extensive portfolio of technologies. The candidate should be comfortable with 30+ outbound phone calls during the day and able to build strong relationships with customers across these industries.
The ideal candidate would have a background in one of the key industries identified above, along with a minimum of two years sale experience. The position will be compensated with a competitive salary and reimbursement for all business related expenses, a complete benefits package and participation in the company’s equity option incentive plan.
2-3 years of consultative-related sales experience preferred
Exceptional communication skills: must be capable of persuasive communication both externally and internally
High energy and comfortable engaging and selling customers
Able to work well in a fast-paced start-up environment
Demonstrated knowledge of troubleshooting concepts and techniques
Experience with 3D CAD modeling software helpful
Engineering or Manufacturing background preferred
Professional verbal and written communications
Ability to work well in a team environment
Experience tracking information in sales databases
