As the Database Analyst, you should have a minimum 3 years working experience in the information technology field, assessing and organizing data generated from research, customer relations or business relations. The Database Analyst should be competent at developing tools or software programs that present data in a useful format for business needs, and have knowledge of relational databases, be able to maintain data integrity or security and keep data management systems current. Experience in telecommunications would be highly desirable but is NOT a requirement.
Author Data Definition Language (DDL) and Data Manipulation Language (DML) SQL commands in MS SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, and Netezza
Develop custom client reports and interact with members of various teams to understand requirements
Present data in charts, graphs, tables and presentations of project results
In collaboration with client services group, present custom report results to clients
Export data into various formats for end client use
Importing, cleaning, transforming, validating or modeling data with the purpose of understanding or making conclusions from the data for decision making purposes
Manage routine ad hoc delivery schedule to ensure all reports are delivered on time.
Monitor various SQL job logs to identify successes or failures; troubleshoot and debugs DML
Perform basic statistical analysis for projects and reports
Create and present high quality dashboards
Create process documentation for all aspects of the operational procedure related to developed reports.
Participate in research and provide supporting data for the completion of industry reports.
