The project/product manager will lead the definition and execution of digital products for clients, and coordinate both platform development and integration of key features as identified and prioritized within client product roadmaps.
The product manager is a client-facing individual contributor, responsible for solving complex problems and taking a broad perspective to identify innovative solutions. He or she will serve as both a technical and functional specialist and works in collaboration across all disciplines (strategy, design, development, quality assurance, analytics, client services, and more). A successful candidate will be highly analytical, able to work extremely effectively in a matrix organization, and adept at synthesizing a variety of technologies and capabilities into high-quality products and applications.
Qualifications and Skills:
-Typically requires a minimum of 5-7 years in digital product development, with sector expertise in financial services preferred
-Experience with SDLC/Agile methodologies (preferably, certification as Scrum Master).
-Ability to translate product complexities into practical business solutions for clients, offering creative and achievable solutions for balancing scope, timeline, budget, and resources towards a shared product delivery objective. Strong written and verbal communication skill and the -proven ability to influence and communicate effectively across both internal and client stakeholders.
-Analytical, fact-based, and the ability to synthesize and organize data/information from a variety of inputs and resources; utilizing data to back up assumptions, recommendations, and driving actions.
-Broad technical breadth and depth including familiarity with web services, back-end application infrastructure, and cross-channel (mobile) integration.
-Flexible and creative thinker with the ability to identify business tradeoffs and manage uncertainty – thinking strategically and executing methodically. Strong planning, organizational and problem-solving skills.
-Demonstrated project management skills.
-History of teamwork and willingness to roll up one’s sleeves and get the job done.
-Bachelors/Degree or equivalent experience
