ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The Software Applications Manager will manage a team of programmers and analysts who are responsible for the organization's applications programming projects. Allocates team resources and sets delivery schedule to meet customer requirements. Provides technical support and direction for a team of programmers and controls the development process. Provide aide in the development and maintenance of key projects. Provides direction for a team of Business Analysts and drives the SDLC for all projects. Implements and monitors company policies and procedures and is familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan, accomplish goals and perform a variety of tasks. Leads and directs the work of others. The experienced candidate would have a development background / current hands on programming experience in .NET, Project Management expertise in terms of implementing software solutions; Working with customers to establish requirements; Working with off shore resources; managing software projects and facilitating all status meetings; and Interacting with both internal and external customers. You MUST have a hands-on development background in .NET and be comfortable acting as a Lead / Subject Matter Expert on all business applications.
Supervise and manage a team of applications developers.
Supervise and manage a team of business analysts.
Work as part of the team to design and develop web, IPAD, and Desktop applications.
Communicate with other functional departments such as Billing, Laboratory, Sales/Marketing, and other departments to identify business needs.
Gather and formalize business requirements process.
Create SQL queries and stored procedures as needed.
Evaluate and utilize third-party tools as needed depending on the required solution.
Prepare technical and user documentation as needed.
Work as part of a team to exchange business and technical knowledge in a positive manner.
Perform other duties as required related to analysis, requirements and database related projects.
Drive the rollout life cycle including bug tracking/assignment and actively participating in all deployment related tasks.
Create the rollout and maintenance schedules including resourcing planning and customer coordination.
Actively participate in requirements gathering and review all requirement documents.
Create a new SDLC process for Business Analysts.
Adhere to company policies, including attendance and punctuality
Communicate with co-workers, management and others in a courteous and professional manner;
Conform with and abide by all regulations, policies, work procedures and instructions including but not limited to confidentiality (HIPAA) requirements (patient files and personal information)
Solid job history demonstrating the ability to work independently and as a team leader to complete large and small application development projects.
Experience writing batch scripts, stored procedures and stored functions.
Experience with business analysis related desktop tools such as Project, Visio, Excel and PowerPoint.
Experience working in the HealthCare or Insurance industries a plus.
Oracle and MySQL database experience a plus.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science
Minimum 3 years supervising a team of application developers.
Minimum 7 years working with Microsoft SQL Server.
Minimum 7 years working with C#, ASP.net, .Net Framework.
