General Summary: Assist DoD Program with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) implementation assessment support.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Perform an assessment of the implementation of Army’s SAP ERP systems federation requirements
Supervise multiple large-scale, complex projects
Responsible for allocating resources among tasks and is the principal liaison with customer for business and technical matters
Conduct research and analysis on the progress of implementation activities specific to federating complex enterprise applications, i.e., the US Army’s SAP ERP systems: (As-Is and To-Be)
Perform gap analysis of As-Is and To-Be states, including Return on Investment and Alternatives Analysis of current and target federation solutions
Provide SAP technical / subject matter expertise, in support of Army ERP systems
Review technical work products for accuracy and completeness, and advise the customer on technical best practices
Assess financial operations, identify opportunities for enhancement, and assist technical resources with solutions such as implementation of On-premise and Cloud based SAP ERP
Generate technical documentation
Participate in PERD/PEO EIS at conferences, meetings, workgroups pertaining to ERP systems federation related projects
Knowledge, Skill, and Abilities:
Functional expertise in Army logistics as well as expertise in enterprise resource planning software, specifically as a "power user" of the following SAP modules: Finance/Controlling, Project systems, Materials Management, Human Resources, Plant Management, Production Planning, Warehouse Management, Sales and Distribution, Quality Management, and Logistics Execution.
Should have experience in multiple SAP Go-Live projects.
Detailed knowledge of Army ERP module functionality/process areas (FI, FM, CO, SD, MM, PPE).
Knowledge of Army systems development and maintenance processes and procedures
An understanding DoD and Army Finance regulations / policies and ensure processes developed by the Program are in compliance
Ability to analyze the interactions between the various facets of financial operations and developing policies and procedures
Advanced degree with 15 years of experience or Bachelor's degree
Management experience with projects of increasing size and difficulty.
Minimum 5 years of SAP ERP experience.
Army ERP (GFEBS, AESIP, GCCS-Army, LMP, IPPS-A) experience highly desirable.
