Seeking a Project Control Specialist with a strong financial background. The successful individual will assist the Project Management team with the planning, tracking, analysis, and reporting on project financial performance. Will partner with senior management, analyzing financial results, preparing reporting packages and driving continuous improvements in quality of information for business decisions. The ideal candidate will be a motivated, hands-on professional who likes to be involved in a wide variety of projects as the business grows. Collaborates with the Program Management Department to support overall department goals and objectives.
Financial Planning and Reporting – Analyze financial performance and prepare reporting packages that help management run their operations more efficiently and effectively.
Respond to financial inquiries from VP of Program Management, Project Managers, and Subcontractors.
Ensure the timely reporting of all monthly financial information.
Prepare accurate project financial reports and deliverables for the Government.
Work with project team on contract modifications.
Ensure the accurate and timely processing of all subcontractor invoices.
Supports budget and forecasting activities.
Prepare financial information and analysis for new contract awards.
Assist the Contracts Department with Subcontractor set-up for new contract awards.
Education and Experience:
Degree from an accredited university in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration (Additional years of experience may be substituted for a degree.)
Expertise in Microsoft Excel.
3 to 5 years financial performance analysis experience.
Strong communication skills, including ability to communicate complex information to management.
