Perform ergonomic evaluations and individual training and instruction to reduce or eliminate the risk of musculoskeletal and repetitive strain injuries, scheduling an appointment within one day of an employee request for ergonomic services.
Enter and/or maintain Excel spreadsheet records of ergonomic evaluation findings, recommendations and subsequent actions.
Maintain thorough knowledge of federal, state, and local standards, OSHA standards (29 CFR 1910), EPA, National Fire Protection Association codes and standards (NFPA 101, etc), American National Standards Institute standards, National Building Code, ASHRAE, USGBC, etc
Quality assurance of contractors doing testing and certification of biosafety cabinets
Respond to Indoor Air Quality odor/particulate/comfort complaints, as directed.
Conduct measurement and sampling of physical, chemical and biological agents, as directed.
Assist with Water Quality routine surveys in headquarters, regional, area, and field offices – travel to field offices, as directed.
Conduct Fire Safety, Life Safety, and Building Safety surveys – routine and specific issues, as requested.
Perform any requested facilities related health and safety functions, i.e. building emergency support function.
Perform certification of Biological Safety Cabinets
Must be degreed
Must have experience with ergonomics and Biosafety
