FIELD SERVICE PROFFESIONAL
Our Client is a service oriented system integrator specializing in engineered drive and control systems for Industrial Automation. They are headquartered in Owings Mills, MD and are seeking a field service professional for engineering, service and sales support in the MD, PA, VA areas.
The Field Service Professional will respond to requests made by customers to troubleshoot failed drive and control systems. In addition, the service professional will be required to take on-call duties, 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Some overnight travel is required. When not working in the field, individual will be expected to maintain a home office. Office work will include engineering projects for system upgrades, modifications or new projects and service reports. Individual must provide reliable transportation to and from customer site.
Program: PLC / Controllers / HMI Panels and AC / DC Drives
Startup / Commission: PLC and AC / DC Drive / HMI Panel installation, wiring, hardware, logic and controls
Troubleshoot / Maintain: PLC / Controllers, HMI and AC / DC Drive controllers software, hardware, process and control to isolate and correct operational issues and confirm functional operation.
Documentation: Understand, create, edit, correct and modify new and existing CAD drawings and write Word / Excel service reports.
Education: BSEE, Electrical / Electronic Military, Associates in Electrical Engineering Required: Good communication, Electrical, PLC, AC / DC Drives and Computer skills Preferred: Solid technical skills in PLC, AC / DC Drives, Motors and Web Handling applications Salary: Dependent on level of experience.
