Senior Security Analyst to work in the Andrews AFB, MD area.
Candidates will perform security analyst activities in accordance with DIACAP and Risk Management Framework (RMF). Develop HAF level documents for senior leadership.
The candidate MUST:
Have a broad knowledge of policies, concepts, staff and operating functions, and procedures affecting combat support functions, modeling & simulation, and automated information systems management at various levels of command throughout the Air Force and DoD
Thorough knowledge of HQ USAF organization and function
Posses the analytical skills necessary for the determination, programming and defense of current and long-range requirements
Be knowledgeable of information technology; servers, OS, encryption solutions, communications paths, and access control methods
Be able to understand, interpret, and analyze specific security guidance documents including DISA STIGS, NIST Special Publications, OMB guidance, and CJCS guidance
Have a competent use of staff procedures to include a thorough understanding of the administrative requirements to develop a fully coordinated staff package
Be able to work as part of a team implementing RMF and Air Force compliance requirements
Be able to work with and provide guidance to system managers and security analysts to resolve security related problems
Be able to understand, interpret, and analyze tests and test results for systems tested
Have written and oral communication skills appropriate for the HAF, DoD and JCS level
The candidate SHOULD:
Be Knowledgeable of AF logistics and civil engineering information systems
Have working knowledge and understanding of FISMA requirements and how they are implemented in DOD and Air Force.
Understand the NIST Risk Management Framework (RMF).
Have experience conducting quantitative and qualitative analysis of security controls in accordance with DIACAP and NIST RMF
CISSP (ISSEP desired)
Active U.S. Government Security Clearance
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
