The position is open to mid-level designers who possess a wide range of skill sets related to design for the web. Primary responsibilities include all aspects of design for digital platforms including websites, interactive displays, digital campaigns, email and social media. Applicants must be extremely organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working within a collaborative team environment.
An ideal candidate is someone who isn't afraid of new challenges and the growing demand for creating smart, usable and lasting digital experiences. They should have a strong working knowledge of user-centered design, able to develop pieces that cater to specific audiences and use cases.
Conceptualizing, executing and taking design pieces through production
Working with a wide variety of brands that demand different design aesthetics
Collaborating closely with other designers and creative directors
Being highly creative, conceptual, as well as organized
Have an understanding of brand strategy and the ability to translate systems into digital platforms
Have excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Able to articulate point of view as it related to interaction design
Able to take initiative and ask questions as needed
Able to give (and take) constructive criticism
Have excellent time management skills and able to work within deadlines
Have an interest in social, cultural and aesthetic themes and trends
Strong knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite
An active curiously as it relates to emerging technologies and best practices
Minimum two years’ experience
