The ideal candidate will have at least two years previous project accounting experience; present themselves professionally in oral and written communication; demonstrate an exceptional attention to detail and accuracy when completing the duties and responsibilities of this position.
Duties include but are not limited to:
Gather, analyze and enter job cost and billing data into accounting system to include initial project set up through project close out;
Prepare monthly contract invoicing, time and material invoicing and change order requests;
Review and approve daily field logs, verify and prepare subcontractor pay estimates and MBE reports;
Assist project team with accurate tracking and reporting of job costs and billings, including A/R data entry;
Required Skills & Competencies:
Two years previous accounting experience required (construction accounting experience a plus);
Accounting degree preferred;
Advanced knowledge of MS Office applications: Word, Excel, Outlook;
View Point, B2W, and Track knowledge a plus;
Demonstrated organizational skill to include prioritization and effective time management;
Ability to gather documentation from various sources and follow up persuasively until received;
Demonstrated financial acumen, initiative, attention to detail and problem solving skill;
Strong communication ability to deal professionally with internal and external customers.
