Job Title:

Inventory Control Coordinator

Reports to:

Director of Production

 

Summary

The Inventory Control Coordinator organizes and monitors the receiving, storage and distribution of all incoming material.

 

A successful Inventory Control Coordinator will:

Locate and distribute materials to specified production areas, manually or using handcart, hand- truck, or forklift.
Compile and maintain material and parts inventory and provide status information to expedite movement of material and parts between production areas.
Perform routine inventory cycle counts
Record shipping information and delivery date input for correct inventory depletion.
Interface with manufacturing personnel, purchasing personnel, etc. on material status and inventory stock levels.
Close out completed jobs and return unused material into stock.

 

Qualifications:

Associates/Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
3 or more years’ experience in fast paced manufacturing environment.
Familiar with MS Office Software (Word, Excel, Project, & Power Point)
Experience with purchasing, expediting, MRP/ ERP systems, quality/continuous improvement initiatives, manufacturing safety practices and MS Office applications.
Team player – able to work with all departments both within company and with customer contacts
