Digital Media Support Specialist

Location: DC (Federal Center, SW)
 

Support integration and operation of technical platforms including: On-Line Video and Audio Platform services for digital audio and video asset management, web analytics management services, custom Content Management Systems (CMS) for publication and syndication of content to digital platforms and custom mobile CMS for publishing to mobile applications and web-enabled devices.
Provide quality assurance testing and support for new and existing digital products and services related to the above technologies and platforms.
Provide customer service, support and training for staff on new and existing technologies and platform systems.

Support digital media technologies that include web and mobile applications, podcasts, rss, audio and video file editing, transcoding, live and on-demand streaming and media players.
Work within a multidisciplinary team to ensure all products and services are developed in accordance with guidelines for scalability, performance, reliability and security.
Experienced as a team member and subject matter expert in an Agile with Scrum development environment

 
Preferred skills or Experience with:
 
MySQL and SQLite, Mongo, Couch, GitHub, Bitbucket, Test Scripts
