RF Systems Engineer

Our client is seeking Electrical Engineers with a strong RF background and 10-15 years of experience. The successful candidate will be integrated into a multi-contractor environment and interact directly with customers and government personnel. The ideal candidates will be self-starters with a background in RF systems and Radar to support test and evaluation of US developed systems. Daily activities will include top level program planning, system concept definition, requirements documentation, capabilities briefing, and system concept development.
A broad background in multi sensor systems (particularly EO/IR and RF), surface to air missile systems and capabilities, command and control and data communications is required. These skills will be used to develop unique and cost effective solutions to meet emerging test and training requirements. Communication within a team and to upper level management is critical. Support of test and training activities in harsh desert conditions will be necessary, and periodic travel will be required to support overall program development and fielding. A background in Air Force Test and Training is considered a plus.
This position will also evaluate current Radar systems, DRFM and simulations to determine upgrade options and modification required to improve current capabilities consistent with observed upgrades. Interaction with internal design resources and other external vendors will be required to develop cost estimates and program planning documentation. This position requires outstanding written and verbal communications skills.
